a internship or an internship

What is the difference between an intern and an internship?

Internship is a position where a student or any person can work for someone /a company/program or an organization to gain experience in a particular field since they cannot opt for a job as they may be still studying or don’t have any work experience. They work for a short duration of time and have lower or no salary at all

An intern is a person who works in an internship to gain more experience or broaden their horizons etc

Internships are most often done by students with an educational institution, or at a company; in both cases, the internship can be said to be educational. An internship is distinguished from employment that entails a similar arrangement, namely one done for remuneration, is temporary, and is usually done for only a short period (such as one semester), whereas internships can go on for much longer periods. An internship is also distinguished from an apprenticeship or traineeship
