How do computer science students get internships without experience?
If you are a computer science student and want to get an internship, here are some tips that will help you.
First of all, it is important to be well-versed in the area where you want to intern. For example, if you want to work as a software engineer at Google, then read everything about Android and its features so that when the time comes for your interview, you can speak intelligently about it.

If you don’t have experience yet then you should try doing things on your own(learn to make a simple mobile or web app on your own for CSE/IT), and at least try to get good academic records pre-internship. Then with the skill, you learned on your own show it to the company you apply and if you are good you will even get the pre-placement offer. Hope it helps

From computer science, I am assuming B. Tech students. Experience for them is reflected on their GitHub or Linkedin page. They have to learn to program and practice competitive programming. If they qualify for the interviewer’s questions, then… Good to go!
