do you include internships on employment history background check

There are several questions that come to mind when you think about a background check. Do they include the time spent in an internship?
When conducting a background check, most employers look at the time spent in internships and summer jobs as positive indicators of how well someone will perform on the job. If you have worked in an internship or a summer job while attending college, it is generally considered good practice to list this experience on your resume.

As far as listing them on your employment history, there is no real right or wrong answer here. Most people choose not to because it can be seen as bragging and showing off if you list all of your internships and jobs on your resume. However, if you choose not to include them then many companies won’t either because they may see this as a negative thing which could cause them to think twice before hiring you. It really depends on what kind of company you are applying for so do some research into what kinds of companies these types of internships/jobs would apply to before listing them on your application form.
