Google Electrical Engineering internship

Google is the place to be for computer engineering internships. One of the requirements for applying to an internship at Google is that you need a bachelor’s degree in computer science, computer engineering, or electrical engineering. In this blog, I will give a step-by-step process of how to apply for an engineering internship at Google.

What is electrical engineering?

Electrical Engineering is a branch of engineering that deals with the study and application of electricity, electronics, and electromagnetism. This field first became an identifiable occupation in the latter half of the 19th century after the commercialization of the electric telegraph, the telephone, and electric power distribution and use.

About the jobs

Starting at concept creation, the Google Hardware team architects, designs, develops, validates, and continues to support the product through the end of life. As an Electrical Engineer, you will be an integral part of the entire process, especially involved in the system design, factory bring-up, and test/validation cycles of the project. You will develop products that are used by several people.

The Google Pixel team focuses on designing and delivering the world’s most helpful mobile experience. The team works on shaping the future of Pixel devices and services through some of the most advanced designs, techniques, products, and experiences in consumer electronics. This includes bringing together the best of Google’s artificial intelligence, software, and hardware to build global smartphones and create transformative experiences for users across the world.
