The National Society for Earthquake Engineering (NSEE) is a nonprofit, membership-based organization that promotes education and research in the areas of earthquake engineering, building technology, structural dynamics, and allied disciplines. NSEE was established in 1969 to advance the development of science and practice in the field of earthquake engineering through research, training, certification, public education, and outreach.

 

National society for internships and experiential education (NSEEXE) was established in 2014 by a group of prominent professors from various universities across the country. The society aims to create an environment that will encourage academics to engage with their students, as well as students to take up internships.
