Faurecia presents an exciting opportunity for dynamic individuals to join as Purchasing Admin Trainees/Interns as part of the YES Graduate Programme. Located in Cape Town, this 12-month contract offers a platform to contribute to innovative solutions for smart, sustainable mobility.
**Main Purpose of the Position:**
As a Purchasing Admin Trainee/Intern, you will play a pivotal role in supporting the purchasing team's objectives and strategies. Your responsibilities include:
- Assisting in administrative tasks within the purchasing department to align with the department's objectives.
- Contributing to identifying and implementing productivity measures for cost reduction.
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams to monitor supplier performance across plants.
- Supporting the Purchasing Budget achievement for assigned plants.
Qualifications & Experience:
We are seeking candidates with the following qualifications and attributes:
- Education: National Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Purchasing, Supply Chain, or a related business field preferred.
- Limited experience required; familiarity with productivity/lean management methodologies advantageous.
- Knowledge of production, quality, and logistics beneficial.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Familiarity with products and technology advantageous.
- Proficiency in English (spoken, written, and comprehension).
- Never registered with the Y.E.S Youth Programme before, complying with YES regulations.
