There’s a lot of opportunities for recent grads in internship programs. The standard I usually see is no more than 6–12 months out of school (undergrad or grad).
I know this is pretty common in journalism/media/communication industries (for example NPR offers opportunities post-grad). I often see in the tech world that you must be a student (at any level).
For anything beyond that, fellowships might be a good option. From time to time I will see fellowships available for people looking for new opportunities with either 0 to 3 years of experience.

I dislike questions that begin with “Can you….” or “Is it possible that …” Unless the question is “Is it possible that the sun will rise in the west tomorrow” the answer is almost always – Yes, it is possible – or Yes, you can.
Yes, it is possible you can get an internship position… But keep in mind, the common understanding is that internships are for students.

I have hired interns at 4-5 companies and the intent was always to hire someone in a particular academic program (in my case, usually computer science) with the hope that the student will gain good practical experience and – if the fit is right for both parties – become a full-time employee upon graduation.
In my industry, we would not hire an intern who was not a student since most full-time positions require a bachelor’s degree.
