US Department of Veterans Affairs info
The Veterans Affairs (VA) is the largest integrated health care system in the United States. It was established in 1930 to provide medical and social services to veterans. But after the passage of The Veterans Health Care Act of 1988, VA’s operations expanded to encompass veterans’ education benefits, vocational rehabilitation, home loans, veteran benefits, and health care.
VA most technologically advanced, integrated health care system in the United States. We serve more than 9 million Veterans enrolled in the VA health system and operate more than 1,700 outpatient clinics and 706 medical centers across America. Our vision is to improve Veterans’ lives by providing them with comprehensive, integrated health care that is consistent across the continuum of care.
